Writing the Wait Condition for a Fib Touch
Price arriving at 61.8% is not a signal. The wait condition decides whether you act.
Students often treat the first touch of a Fibonacci level as the trade. That habit ignores context: session, wick shape, and whether the larger swing still stands.
Wait condition examples
- “Enter long only if H1 rejects 61.8% with a close back above 50% during London.”
- “Short only after a second touch of 38.2% fails to make a higher high on M15.”
Vague phrases like “look for weakness” do not pass workshop review.
Abort rule
State what cancels the idea before entry and after. Example: “Abort if the Korea cash open gaps through 78.6% and holds for thirty minutes.” Without an abort, Fibonacci retracement planning collapses into hope.
